New collection from Lulu DK

It felt like christmas morning when I received a big box from New York with samples from Lulu DK´s latest collection. I was so excited I quickly ripped it open to have a look at all the patterns and color combinations and feel the luxurious texture of Lulu´s linens. This collection was inspired by nature and each pattern is derived from a little story in Lulu´s real life which makes it all so much more inspiring and interesting.

Don´t hesitate to come by the studio to have a look!

Kids room in color

Celerie Kemble, a fabulous interior designer in the U.S, recently did a really cute little kid´s room using Lulu DK´s linen print appropriately called “color wheel”.

I love the use of it on the headboard and how cute isn´t the dinosaur on the wall!!

Different takes on toile!

It´s a classic! … and in my opinion most fun when done in unexpected color combinations or used in unexpected ways like the back of the black barrel chairs in the chic black/grey living rom. I´m not a big lover of the very traditional french toiles with muted colors and sweet motives. I like it strong, bold and a bit young lookin´.

Perfect pattern

I´m in love with this pattern from Lulu DK´s gorgeous fabric line. It´s simple, chic and comes in fabulous colors. I´m currently working on a design for a client´s bedroom and am thinking about proposing this on the headboard (in the soft tan and light blue colorway). I think she´ll love it.
